Dr Kairi Nurm graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Tartu, specialising in skin and venereal diseases, and also holds an international CIDESCO diploma in cosmetology. 

She has participated in many training courses and conferences in the fields of dermatology, sexually transmitted diseases, skin tumours, allergology, aesthetic medicine and cosmetology in various European countries. She has given lectures on acne at continuing education courses for doctors, nurses and pharmacists, lectured on acne at various schools in Estonia and participated in several international drug research studies. 

Dr Kairi Nurm is a member of the Estonian Society for Dermatovenereologists (ESDV), the Estonian Junior Doctors Association (EJDA), the International Dermoscopy Society (IDS) and the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) (GMTF).
